Fred and Bob Gilson started Westquip on June 1st, 1982.  Westquip got the Toyota forklift line in 1984 and the rest is 27 years of successful history. The owners of Westquip are Bob and Jay Gilson and Fred and Nancy Stanley.  

Fred is the president and runs Westquip, Bob is the company's financial backer and consultant when needed.

Jim's strengths are leadership, customer service, great follow up,  and his industry and dealership knowledge. Over the years Jim has become our company's go to guy for all sorts of problems, follow up and good guidance.

Westquip has high quality, skilled associates at every level but, if you can't get adequate help from the department you're working with or an individual at Westquip, please call Jim for assistance.

Over the last 10 years, Jason has proven his intelligence, his mechanical skills and his ability to work with and train other mechanics at Westquip.  5 years ago he went to Toyota's Service College and become a certified instructor for all aspects of Toyota forklift repairs.

Jason became our go to guy on complex service problems and has solved all he's been involved with over the last several years.

Jason's unassuming manner belies his inner self confidence with matching capabilities.  He should be an excellent Service Manager and help Westquip grow an already very successful Service Dept.

Larry has years of experience selling and managing parts at Westquip.  You'll have a hard time finding anyone that knows more or is more willing to help you with your forklift parts problems than Larry and his entire parts staff.

Larry has been instrumental in gaining customers who own all makes and models of equipment. He does it by utilizing Toyota's all make parts sourcing program "StarLift".

Dana is Westquip's office manager, accountant and controller. Having started out at Westquip as a service clerk, Dana knows the company very well from years of experience. 

With her intelligence, attention to detail and dedication to do what is right and best for Westquip, Dana has become an exceptional contributor that not only does the books well but helps manage the company with her insight and dependable efforts.

With over 20 years at Westquip, Debbie knows forklifts.  Debbie coordinates our rental department and takes care of all our factory warranty submittals.  If anyone can't find something or doesn't remember a detail...Debbie is the best at finding it, remembering it or knowing how to dig up the information.  We all wish we had her memory.

Debbie is also Westquip's "Equipment GURU".  Being the primary player in constantly monitoring our huge fleet of new, used and rental forklifts.  She uses our in house Infoquip program to dig into the full history of each piece of equipment and identify those that are costing the company money or not living up to their potential.

Scot has two major responsibilities at Westquip:  Wholesale Manager and North Territiory Sales Manager.

As Wholesale manager, Scot is responsible for our wholesale activities that include buying and selling and managing our large used forklift inventory.

As North Territory Sales Manager, Scot covers this large territory selling new and used forklifts to our hundreds of customers.  

If you need one lift or need a proposal to replace a fleet of 60 forklifts, Scot has the knowledge to do an excellent job.

Chris Johnson is Westquip's Sales Manager for our South Territory.  Chris has the experience to help you get the right forklift(s) for your applications.

Daryl is our Customer Service Representative for our North Territory.

If you need planned maintenance (PMs), repair services, repair estimate, parts, and/or rental forklifts, Daryl will be glad to help you.

With Daryl's help, Westquip is one of Toyota's top rated dealers in Customer Satisfaction and has won Toyota's service and parts award 8 out of the last 10 years.

Gary has been one of Westquip's best mechanics for years.  His recent promotion to Customer Service Representative should service our customers well.

Steve has years of experience with all aspects of Warehouse Products. As manager of this important department he has grown it every year since taking charge.

Steve can help with everything from Pallet Rack to Dock Restraints, from in-plant offices to battery changing stations, from safety equipment to Dock Levelers.

James recently joined Westquip as our Warehouse Products Salesman for our South Territory. James has years of experience in sales and construction recently running his own concrete coating company. With Westquip's assistance and Steve Holmes' guidance James will do an exceptional job of getting you the Warehouse Products your company needs at a fair price.

Becky is Westquip's lead Sales Coordinator. She truly understands how important it is to help the sales department get accurate, complete quotes to customers quickly. Then once equipment is ordered, make sure every detail is handled perfectly so deliveries are on time and spec'ed correctly. Becky is also involved with accounting aspects such as invoicing, working up lease papers and making sure all the information necessary is accurately entered into our information systems so inventory can be tracked easily.

Peggy assists our sales team in all of their day-to-day efforts.

Kim has years of experience with warehouse products. She's a tremendous help to this department, helping with quotes, getting orders placed, setting up shipping and handling our Warehouse Products office responsibilities.

Dennis' primary responsibility is field and shop repair estimating and quotation preparation. Dennis has several other areas of responsibility within the service department that takes advantage of his attention to detail and excellent follow through.

Paula is our Field Service dispatcher. She takes service calls and attentively dispatches one of our 30 mechanics to get your equipment up and running. Paula is assisted with GPS tracking of all our Service Trucks, excellent software to take open work orders and cell phones for quick communications. We understand how important it is to get your equipment up and running and Paula will get you help quickly and call you back when there is an unexpected delay.

Lisa works closely with our customers and our mechanics to make sure planned maintenance on hundreds of pieces of equipment is done properly and on time.  

In addition to parts running, Rick helps everyone at Westquip with respect and enthusiasm.   Rick is also our building and grounds handyman.

Carrie has over 25 years of parts experience at Westquip.  No one has a deeper, more extensive parts background. Carrie's professional approach with customers and her knowledge combines to give her a huge following.  Ask for Carrie when you need the right part fast.

After Fred, the owner, Carrie is Westquip's longest term employee.  She started when all our parts fit in a small closet.

Kevin is no longer our new guy in parts.  Kevin had years of experience with another dealer before joining Westquip and will do you an exceptional job. 

Gary is our newest Parts Salesperson. He comes to us from a long career in the Automotive Parts industry.

Gary says, "Give me a call for your forklift parts."

Lamar handles our shipping and receiving as well as many other tasks.  Lamar's intelligence and attention to detail gives us the reliability needed to assure quick filling of parts orders and quick turn around of overnight deliveries.

Westquip is fortunate to have such a capable fellow doing this important job.

Delanie's responsibilities include accounts receivable and reception activities.  Delanie has years of experience with Westquip and helps with walk in customers, answering the phone and assisting with many aspects of our accounting requirements.

April's primary responsibilities are payables and reception.  April is an excellent receptionist that also handles the complex tasks necessary to get payables done on time and correctly.
